Mumbai-based Baggit is the one and only Indian vegan bag and accessory brand will soon be launched in Sri Lankan market by next month. The company is all set to execute their plans for expanding its foothold in the Sri Lankan market. The brand will step in the market with a grand opening in Colombo as a new entrant in the market.

The venture is emphasizing more on making the huge investment to create an impactful visibility in the market so that public can have a good impression about the branded products. Baggit is also eyeing on to open stores and expand the chain by associating with various Malls & high-street in Srilanka in the coming years.

Vicky Ahuja, Director of Marketing and Sales at Baggit mentioned that “The Sri Lankan market dynamics are closer to what Indian diaspora is when it comes to shopping and understanding consumer mindsets. Hence, moving to this south-Asian market is a definite opportunity, which will help us establish ourselves in International Markets and reach out to maximum customers. This will be a new approach for Baggit to take the business to greater heights.”

The Indian bag and accessory brand plan to enter the Sri Lankan market by associating with some strong connection and for that they partnered Royal Lanka Agencies Pvt. Ltd. as their distributor.
