OLX, a product and tech company, based out of Gurugram, has picked Bhaskar Bagchi as general manager for OLX Cash My Car (CMC).
Bhaskar Bagchi will spearhead the India operations for the venture and will spearhead the strategy and growth of the company.
“OLX CMC is a brainchild of OLX for convenience-seeking Indians. Our growth and penetration strategy will now be spearheaded by Bagchi,” Sushil Kumar, general manager, OLX India said.
OLX Cash My Car is a joint venture with Frontier Car Group (FCG). Frontier Car Group builds and operates pre-owned automotive marketplaces within emerging markets.
Under the agreement, OLX and FCG will share technological resources, expertise and knowledge to build and operate OLX Cash My Car stores across cities in India.
OLX Cash My Car is present in 10 cities; New Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai, through 50 retail centres.
While, Bagchi has over 25 years of diverse experience and expertise in setting up and handling large operations across e-commerce companies, banking, insurance and BPO/KPO.
