Chandigarh-based boutique consulting and services company Viithiisys Technologies, has acquired on-demand software development startup Actiwate for an undisclosed amount.

The latest acquisition will help Viithiisys scale operations and strengthen product portfolio, as it expands the list of clients.

Post acquisition, Amanjot Malhotra, Founder and CEO, Actiwate, will exit the startup, and act as the advisor.

New Delhi-based Actiwate, owned and operated by Partiko Services, was founded by Amanjot Malhotra, in June 2016. The startup helps simplify the process of software development for its clients, along with providing services like branding, business planning, and marketing & HR.

The startup claims to have developed 60 software products for its clients across the globe and with more than 20 active products, Actiwate claims to be profitable.

“We have worked with the Viithiisys team before on multiple projects and this acquisition gives our team an opportunity to work on a global product such as Vizitor” said Amanjot Malhotra, founder, Actiwate.

Founded in 2007, Viithiisys is a one-stop-shop for all digital needs. It is an independent software vendor and IT solutions provider for services like website and application development.

Viithiisys has helped a number of startups to build their product on technical aspects like Homecanvas, Factordaily, Thecharmworks and Tokopedia.

On the acquisition, Gaurav Saini, CEO Viithisys, said, “Actiwate’s team will bring a fresh boost of expertise in the fields of Product Management, Digital Marketing and Branding to the team of Vizitor. We are also glad to expand our product portfolio and clientele with this acquisition. This acquisition will help us build a robust and experience-oriented product with the potency to give voice to the people in the Visitor Management Platform.”

The global visitor management software market is expected to grow at a CAGR of more than 15% from 2017 to 2025, to reach $6.3 billion by 2025.

The major factor driving the growth of the visitor management software market is the need for paperless administration in several organizations owing to the ease of maintaining data. Moreover, stringent government regulations and policies by associations in maintaining the visitor data records are likely to drive the growth of the market over the forecast period.
