WeDoSky, a drone data science solution providing startup has announced that it has raised an undisclosed amount in its seed funding round from Mumbai Angels, a network of angel investors.

This is the first round of external funding raised by the company. Till now, for about two years, the company was bootstrapped.

The funds will be used for the global expansion of ‘visualAI’ and to integrate solutions for agriculture, infrastructure, and insurance industries after successfully assisting leading organizations in India.

Commenting on this funding round, Jaspreet Makkar, Founder of WeDoSky, said:

Ishan Singh, who led the deal for Mumbai Angels, said:

The company, WeDoSky was founded in 2014, is a data science company which is focused on generating actionable business insights using drone imagery, to assist various industries like mining, construction, energy & solar.

The data extraction and analysis is done using the company’s proprietary software ‘visualAI’. The company counts titans like Adani Enterprises, Tata Power, Azure Power, and ACC Cement amongst its list of clients.
