Free online shop, ForeverShop has raised ₹2 Crore ($300,000) in seed funding from a clutch of angel investors. The startup is managed by Bangalore-based Teamleaf Software Pvt. Ltd., and they provide customer to customer eCommerce services across the country, along with providing a platform for the newcomers who want to sell their product, it’s totally free.
The platform was founded in 2016 and primarily, their target was to focus on marketing, operation and customer service and secondarily, to build a good team by hiring young talent from different places so that at times they can promote the startup in their respective regions.
The aim is to empower them to own a Free Online Shop and have the vision to change the Indian e-commerce landscape. The money will be used to upgrade the products and to expand the base in different cities by building the relationship with logistics and payment gateway partners.
Shathyan Raja, the president of ForeverShop spoke on the development saying “We have invested lots of money on product development because we aim to build the best app for small/individual sellers in India. Many sellers are not familiar with smartphone usage and running own online shop, so we help them to own a shop and use it easily with ForeverShop with excellent user interface and user experience”
