Freshworks, the cloud-based business management service provider, has today announced the launch of its new platform — Freshteam.

Freshteam is an online recruitment management platform that enables businesses to efficiently organise their talent acquisition function. It is targeted at recruiters and allows businesses to engage with candidates.

The newly launched platform will help businesses to organise talent acquisition function, engage with candidates and better align the human resources function to business goals. The aim of the software is to enable recruiters to manage the entire recruitment process on a single platform.

Commenting on the launch, Girish Mathrubootham, founder and CEO of Freshworks stated,

Recruiters have a tough job of simultaneously managing candidates, interviewers and external staffing vendors for every opening to deliver the best hiring experience. Our talent acquisition team needed a unified way to manage all the touch-points of the candidate life cycle, much like how customer interactions and sales leads are managed through a CRM.

Along with standard features like job posting management and interview scheduling, the recruiters can also attract talent through multiple sourcing channels, collaborate with hiring teams, engage with candidates directly from the application, build candidate databases, and leverage a mobile-friendly version.

As of the pricing, Freshteam will be available for free to companies with less than 50 employees. For companies with up to 250 employees, pricing is set at $50 per employee, and the pricing rises to the top end version with up to $250 per employee.

The company was previously known as Freshdesk, but it recently rebranded itself as Freshworks with a mission is to build software that helps its customers manage every critical business function. Its suite of products now includes Freshdesk, Freshservice, Freshsales, Freshcaller and Freshteam.

Last month, the company acquired Joe Hukum, a chatbot building platform which works based on logical workflows. Freshworks is currently competing with global players like Zendesk and Salesforce.
