New Delhi-based big data analytics startup Goals101 has raised around ₹25 crores ($3.5 million) in pre-series A round from US-based venture capital firm Nexus Venture Partners. This round, which was completed a few months back, makes Nexus a significant minority stakeholder in Goals101.

The funds raised will be used to boost technology and data science capabilities. It is further expanding its footprint across global geographies like Malaysia, UAE, Qatar, South Africa, and Kenya.

Goals101 was founded by Visham Sikand, Milan Naik, Ishank Joshi, Anshuman Pandey, and Anupam Bhat in 2016. It provides a big data platform Alpha Platform, powered by machine learning and artificial intelligence to offer intelligent automation solutions to help clients improve end-to-end campaigns for business management.

The platform focuses on sectors like banking, credit, consulting, and brand marketing, to enable its clients with complete solutions through deep insights. It has further designed customised platform like Alpha for Banks, Alpha for Brands, Alpha for Credit, and Alpha for Consulting, to offer a more personalised experience to its clients.

Sameer Brij Verma, Managing Director at Nexus Venture Partners said, “We believe that Goals101 is a technology disrupter redefining next-generation intelligent banking powered by transaction behaviour, location and social intelligence. Given the team and technology combination at Goals101, it’s not surprising that they have already made a mark in six countries with several banks in a matter of only two years.”

In the two years of its inception, the startup claims to have expanded to 16 countries, increasing campaign volumes by 2000x, partnered with 35 banks, and enhanced transaction values up to $160 million per annum.
