Google‘s Launchpad Studio is an acceleration program for world’s top startups. It provides an opportunity for selected startups to work closely with Google and Alphabet product teams and experts to help grow their business using machine learning.

Two Indian startups selected in this year’s finance cohort that will participate in Launchpad Studio are Gurugram-based fintech startup Aye Finance and Mumbai-based loyalty programmes provider m.Paani.

Aye Finance

Aye Finance is a Gurugram-based SME lending startup, founded by Sanjay Sharma and Vikram Jetley in 2014. It provides a platform for small businesses to secure loans at affordable rates, that are locked out of financial institutions. It harnesses technology to create a seamless system to access the creditworthiness of the borrower by using data analytics.

m.Paani

m.Paani is a Mumbai-based consumer data, engagement and loyalty startup founded by Akanksha Hazari in 2014. The startup leverages real-time data to generate insights that are used to help its clients with building brand loyalty, increase sales, and provide enhanced customer experience.

Other startups selected for the program include Alchemy from the US, Axinan from Singapore, Celo from the US, Frontier Car Group from Germany, Go-Jek from Indonesia, GuiaBolso, from Brazil, Inclusive from Ghana, Starling Bank from the UK.

Google’s Launchpad Studio Program will last for four months and all the above startups will participate at Google’s headquarter starting 6th September in Silicon Valley, San Francisco. It is conducted in a manner that leverages all that Google has to offer. This includes the expertise of its researchers, engineers, product managers, and trusted experts in the tech giant’s expansive network.
