Hubilo, Ahmedabad based event management startup, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in its first round. The investment round was led by Girish Mathrubootham (Freshdesk) and it also saw participation from VC Karthic (Buzzworks), Miten Mehta, Rakesh Patel, Vikas Chadha, Ameet Rughani, Samad Makani, Avinash Raheja, Ashish Nanda, Umasankar Nistala, Akash Bhavsar and Jeevanandhan Rajagopal. The raised funds will be used to expand to new markets and to upgrade the technology.

Founded in 2015 by Vaibhav Jain and Mayank Agarwal, Hubilo is an online platform which claims to ease out the tasks of the event organizers. It provides seamless technology to the event organizers which helps them automate a lot of tasks which are usually done manually. With the help of Hubilo, event organizers can create websites, sell tickets, send html emailers, create an event app, market the network etc. All these tasks are fully automated and save a lot of time of the physical manpower.

Talking on the development, Vaibhav Jain, Co-Founder & CEO – Hubilo stated that events are an evergreen thing. However, the activities involved in the events need to be monitored on a personal level and it needs perfection. He further added that over 80% of such tasks are done manually. Hubilo aims to automate the entire process of event management with its technology. Hubilo has a strong team and vision and it plans to become the largest community of events in the time to come.

Miten Mehta, an Angel investor who will be joining the board after the investment formalities, stated that the AI driven technology of Hubilo makes it an amazing platform for the event professionals. It is a great set of working algorithms which automates the entire process of event management. He seemed pretty excited to be an investor-mentor for Hubilo.

Before raising this investment, the startup has received support from iCreate with a seed fund of INR 15 lakh as well as INR 8 lakh from the government of Gujarat.
