Bengaluru-based gaming startup, Hypernova Interactive has raised an undisclosed amount of Seed Investment from one of India’s leading early stage investors, Kae Capital. This is the Kae’s first investment in the gaming sector. The startup was founded by two game designer, who worked with Zynga and Hike. Mayur Bhimjiyaniwas was the chief designer of FarmVille and CastleVille and Huzaifa Arab was a principal game designer at Hike Messenger’s gaming sector.
Mayur Bhimjiyani, founder of Hypernova commented that “With the advent of mobile phones, the gaming industry has seen explosive growth in the past few years. We are focused on building top notch gaming experiences for global audiences. Our vision is to build an Esports ecosystem for mobile. Till now, the company has launched two games, the first one, War Tanks, is an online real-time multiplayer game and the second game, Space Titans was launched recently on Android. Both of them have become popular and done amazingly well in markets.
