Bengaluru-based online funding platform, LetsVenture is collaborating with Israel’s OurCrowd which also deals with the crowd funding and promote startups. This partnership will help its Indian investors to render services globally and to emphasize on building a relationship. The startup covers 20,000 foreign investors and planning to connect more by associating with other crowdfunding companies. Apart from this, the partner startups are also planning to launch “India Fund” by associating with known people and high net worth individuals in their networks.
Jon Medved, CEO of OurCrowd stated that “While the startup scene in India is impressive, many are still focused on the Indian market, compared to Israeli startups, which look to go global right from the start, this partnership will help Indian startups access global funding and opportunities, and will offer curated deals to Indian investor syndicates managed by LetsVenture.“
Shanti Mohan, CEO of LetsVenture mentioned that “The intent of doing this (fund) is to launch partner funds on LetsVenture to deploy startups on the platform. Our vision is to make angel investing easy -which also includes providing portfolio diversification to our investors and providing them access to invest into some of the best startups globally.”
This partnership will help Israeli startups to provide innovative services in areas such as agrotech, banking, defence and deep tech to a large market like India.
