LoadShare, Bengaluru based logistics startup, which was started earlier this year, has raised undisclosed amount of pre-series A funding from Matrix Partners India. The raised amount of funds will be used for strengthening the technology and team expansion.

Founded by Raghuram Talluri, Tanmoy Karmakar and Rakib Ahmed, LoadShare works with small logistic players and helps them automate their delivery procedure using analytical solutions. It claims to have shipped over 3 million shipments since its inception earlier this year. Currently, the startup serves over 2000 pin codes across Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, UP, Gujarat, Delhi and eastern India.

Speaking about the startup, Raghuram Talluri, CEO – LoadShare stated that the shipments handled by LoadShare include non-commerce as well as eCommerce shipments. The startup enables the delivery for its clients and charges for the software it provides.

Talking of the investment, Vikram Vaidyanathan, MD – Matrix Partners India said that with SMEs adopting to technology on a brisk pace, the segment is more promising than ever. Also, LoadShare has the ability to bring together larger amount of clients to enable them with technology and SaaS products. He also mentioned that LoadShare has enabled many small courier companies to process their shipments faster and with more efficiency.
