Mukesh Bansal, co-founder of CureFit Healthcare has resigned from his post on the board of Swiggy. He was appointed on the board of food delivery app around 6 months ago.

According to sources familiar with the development, Mukesh Bansal has resigned earlier this month. CureFit, the startup he founded along with former Flipkart executive Ankit Nagori, is also eying towards food delivery and the idea will overlap with the core business of Swiggy.

One of the sources stated that CureFit is going to launch delivery of healthy food shortly. Though Swiggy works on a broader horizon, the core idea of delivery overlaps and to prevent conflict of interest, Mukesh Bansal has stepped down.

Bansal had started one of the most popular fashion eCommerce store in India, Myntra, later it was sold to Flipkart. With CureFit, Bansal raised $15 million in Series A round in June 2016. The amount of $15 million still remains as one of the largest funding raised by an Indian startup in earlier rounds.
