Mumbai-based The Mumum Co, children’s snack foods company has raised ₹3.4 crores in angel funding from a number of high net-worth individuals like Nisa Godrej, Executive Chairman of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, and Siddharth Parekh and Sumeet Nindrajog, co-founders of Paragon Partners.

The funds raised will be used to expand the product range, expansion into tier 2 cities along with the expansion of the senior management.

The Mumum Co, a snack foods company makes healthy and nutritious snacks for kids combining fruits, grains, and veggies. It was founded by two mothers, Farah Nathani Menzies and Shreya Lamba in 2017.

Shreya Lamba, Co-founder of The Mumum Co., said, “The “very, very real” nature of Mumum Co products comes from our conscious effort to feed our kids with 100% natural and nourishing foods to help their little bodies grow better and faster – with no preservatives or additives,”.

Its product range currently includes Super Sprinkles, Mighty Melties, and Cool Crunchies. All its products are wholesome with a combination of different fruits and grains to provide a healthy meal for kids.

All the products are available on its website along with all major Indian online food stores including, Amazon, BigBasket, Firstcry, Nature’s Basket, Apollo Pharmacy, etc. The products are also available across 100 stores in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune. It is set to expand to over eight cities by the end of the year.

The recent funding will help the company to recruit talent and help them expand across new cities to further their goals of providing kids with foods rich in nutrition.
