The Oppo Mobiles India Private Limited and the Wadhwani Foundation has inked a Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with the KSUM (Kerala Startup Mission), on Friday, in order to run incubation and acceleration programmes for startups, cited ET.

The MoUs were signed between M Sivasankar IAS, Secretary, Electronics and IT, Government of Kerala, Tasleem Arif, Vice President, and R&D Head, India, Oppo, and Abhinav Khera, Senior Vice President, Wadhwani Foundation in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan.

Through the partnerships, Oppo to run an incubation programme that will support selected startups under KSUM. It will also provide market access and technical expertise to them. KSUM will host the startups at OPPO R&D Centre for workshops and training. The organisation will also provide physical infrastructure for the incubation process executed with Oppo support.

While, Wadhwani Foundation will run acceleration programmes for SMEs, startups, entrepreneurship education and women startups.
