Gurugram-based digital lending marketplace Paisabazaar had partnered with Amazon‘s Alexa and Google Assistant, to help users access its products through voice commands.

At present, consumers can access free credit scores and monthly updates on Alexa, the product is expected to be available through Google Assistant by the end of the month.

More products like direct mutual fund plans, loans, credit cards, among various other products are expected to be rolled out for customers using Alexa and Google assistant over the coming few weeks, in order to create a seamless integration to enhance customer experience.

Talking about the partnership, Naveen Kukreja, Chief Executive Officer, Paisabazaar, said, “If you look around the world, consumers are fast moving towards voice-based searches and commands. By making our products, and all the information around it available on platforms like Google Assistant and Alexa, we are providing a more seamless way to interact and transact.”

Integration with Alexa and Google assistant will enable Paisabazaar to reach an even wider customer base, accessing their network of users.

Along with the Android devices, Google Assistant also has a presence on Jio feature phones, further enabling Paisabazaar to reach a different set of customers.

Like other internet players in India, Paisabazaar is looking to leverage the growing local language online users in India, to make its services available in local languages, in order to reach the first generation internet users in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

Enabling the local language users with voice search in their own language will empower those users to use the services more easily.
