The Indian electronic payment company, Paytm is coming up with the new services to pay traffic fines via Paytm. Currently, the service is in Mumbai, Pune, and Vijayawada and will be expanding their services in the other cities, their aim is to provide this services to every countryman. This service is beneficial and less time consuming and this will also tell you the accurate amount a person have to pay.

Kiran Vasireddy, Senior Vice President of Paytm, gave statement that “Traffic challan payments in India largely happen at select counters and in cash. We are glad to partner with the state traffic police departments to enable challan payments on the go, state is supporting them a lot in terms of using digital challan system.”

Vehicle owners can easily avail services by log on to Paytm and tap on to ‘Traffic Challan’, enter their vehicle number and after verifying the details, proceed to pay the challan (fine). Soon after the payment, vehicle qwner will receive the digital invoice generated by the Paytm itself and the customers surrendered documents will be dispatched via postal service by the police department. By following this process, a person can also decrease the amount of corruption and a proper record will be maintained of every fines.
