Gurugram-based HR solutions and technology firm PeopleStrong has acquired Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) startup Qilo for an undisclosed amount, reported ET.

With the latest acquisition, PeopleStrong will strengthen its comprehensive HR technology suite through Talent Acquisition, Workforce Management, and Talent Management offering. Post-acquisition, all of about 20 employees at Qilo will also be joining PeopleStrong.

Talking about the acquisition, Sandeep Chaudhry, President and Board Member, PeopleStrong, said, “Managing performance & productivity is a top priority for a CEO and a key expectation from the CHRO. With Qilo, we will help our clients simplify and measure strategy execution and align individual performance to business outcomes across all levels.”

Noida-based Qilo was incorporated by Arun VermaVikram Kohli, and Vipul Mathur in July 2015. Qilo is an Agile Work Management Platform that enables organizations to drive growth through better and quick decisions. The startup is empowering companies across sectors like Steel1, SmartWorks, Chumbak, and Cardekho, among many others.

PeopleStrong was founded in 2005 by Anubhab Goel, Pankaj Bansal, and Shelly Singh in 2005. It offers a wide range of HR solutions like Recruit, Worklife, Learning, Payroll, along with AI-powered conversational interface Jinie to help its clients across different levels. The firm serves over 300 enterprises in Asia and has more than 800,000 users across enterprises like Aditya Birla Capital, Singlife, True Corp, Amara raja group, Chola Finance, Future Group, and Vmart.

Adding the latest acquisition to its kitty, the HR tech firm has made four acquisitions over the years. Last year alone it acquired self-service platform Capabiliti and Talent Recruitment Platform GrownOut. Previously in 2014, PeopleStrong had acquired HR and payroll solutions provider Bigbyte Solutions.

Other Indian HR tech startups competing with PeopleStrong include Peopleworks, ZingHR, Keka HR, Belong and Darwinbox, among others.
