Bengaluru-based doorstep car service and repair startup Pitstop is going international, to launch operations in Singapore with an investment of around ₹7 crores ($1 million), as reported by YourStory.
Pitstop has entered into a joint partnership with its backer Singapore-based Goldbell Group, to launch end-to-end platform for service management and repairs in Singapore.

The startup will be investing around ₹7 crores ($1 million), in order to expand operations, as it looks to increase adoption among end customers by Q1 FY19. It is further looking to expand its services to Malaysia and Vietnam, with the help of the joint venture, by 2020.
Pitstop was founded by two IIT Kanpur alumni, Mihir Mohan and Nirant Ramakuru in 2015. The startup provides a one-stop solution for hassle-free services, providing doorstep car services, with experienced service advisors and technicians, catering to the customer’s needs.
The startup is operational in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, and Hyderabad, providing services like general service, additional repair, and denting & painting. It claims to have serviced more than 50,000 cars, in the last nine months.
Pitstop last raised ₹10 crores in a funding round from Goldbell Group and Blume Ventures in April 2018. Earlier in November 2017, the startup had raised ₹6.5 crores in funding from Blume Ventures, Goldbell Group, along with other angel investors including Anurag Srivastava, Shailesh Rao, Amiya Pathak, Rajesh Yohanan and Rahul Garg.
Other players in the car repair and services domain in India include Carcrew, Cartisan, Carmozo, CarZippi, MeriCar, and CarXpert, among many others.
