Hubhopper, a podcasting platform has join hands with Indus OS, a homegrown system apps company in order to place local audio content to Indian audiences pan-India, cited ET.

This integration will result in users accessing content in over 10 Indian languages on various Indian mobile brands.

Indus OS has been developing system apps for the Indian smartphone users to discover and consume digital content and services in the language of their choice.

Indus OS was founded in 2015 by Rakesh Deshmukh, Akash Dongre and Sudheer B.

Together the two companies have partnered to power millions of devices with podcasts and audio content on Indus One.

While, Bengaluru-based Hubhopper was started by Gauram Raj Anand and Uday Raj Anand. It has an elaborate podcast directory of over a million hours of content across 15 languages and 8 products spread across both the listeners as well as creators of this medium.

The collaboration is expected to further expand the reach of audio content to additional geographies, enabling easy access to the best and the most relatable audio content for mobile users.

Some of the significant players in the podcasting industry includes ViralShots, Flipboard, Inshorts, Dailyhunt, Feedly, Newser, Pocket, among others.
