RentMojo, a Bengaluru-based appliances and furniture rental startup, has bagged ₹1.16 crore from Renaud Laplanche, cited yourstory.

Renaud Laplanche is the CEO and co-founder of Upgrade. While, according to the reports, the company has issued 125 series C compulsory convertible preferences shares at a premium amount of ₹92,707.42 per share.

RentoMojo is an Indian marketplace that offers furniture, furnishings, appliances and other home verticals that house hunters can book at affordable rentals.

The company was founded by Geetansh Bamania in November 2014. It’s services are active in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Noida, and Gurugram.

The startup also provides free relocation, maintenance, and product swap facilities on the rented items.

Whereas, Laplanche has also participated in the startup’s Series C funding round of ₹77 crore, along with Accel Partners, Chiratae Ventures, IDG Ventures, and Bain Capital.

Some of the significant startups in the similar domain includes Furlenco, Urban Ladder, Pepperfry, Rentickle, and many more.
