B2B e-marketplace Pumpkart bags an undisclosed amount of funding from CII chairman Dinesh DuaSource: funds95

Just Herbs, a luxury ayurvedic beauty brand has bagged $1.5 million in pre-series A investment from Roots Ventures, along with a clutch of family offices, high net-worth individuals, and corporate executives, reported Mint.

The Chandigarh-headquartered Just Herbs will be using the infused financials to expand product range, boost distribution and for new customer acquisition.

“We wanted partners who can provide not just growth capital but are also completely aligned with our long term vision for the brand. We look forward to embarking on this exciting journey together for the next leg of our growth,” said Arush Chopra, CEO and co-founder, Just Herbs.

Just Herbs was founded in 2013. It is a direct-to-consumer, Ayurvedic beauty brand with over 70 products for skin, hair, bath & body and natural makeup.

As per its LinkedIn page, it is India’s first beauty company to develop products by crowd sourcing customer-feedback via its user base through social media.

“Conscious consumption is a very strong theme in beauty and Just Herbs with its sharp focus on product quality and customer engagement has all the right ingredients to become a leading player in this space,” said Japan Vyas, founder, Roots Ventures.
