Security firm Red Fox raises angel funding from Sunil Rawtani

Red Fox Protection Services, a security firm based out of Ahmedabad, has managed to secure an undisclosed sum in its angel funding round.

Sunil Rawtani, chief executive officer at Artifice Advisors, has invested in the company. While the investment amount has not been disclosed, a report suggests that he has picked up 1 percent stake in the startup.

As a part of the deal, Sunil Rawtani has also agreed to serve as a strategic advisor to the Red Fox Protection Services.

Started in July 2009, Red Fox is currently operating security business in two states — Gujarat and Rajasthan. Its list of clients includes shopping malls, hospitals and industrial establishments. Apart from corporate clients, the company also provides security services to celebrity events and cricket matches.

According to Rajendra Shekhawat, chief executive of Red Fox Protection Services, the company has made a turnover of around ₹20 crore in the financial year 2016-17. Going forward, the company is aiming to clock in more than ₹250 crore in turnover by 2020.

He further claims that the company has a workforce of more than 3,000 security personnel. The company says that it has well-trained Commando, course qualified Ex Service Men (Ex-National Security Guard (NSG) and Ex-Special Protection Group (SPG). It also has Bouncers who have been trained for Crowd Management, VIP/VVIP security, Unarmed Combat, among others.

The company is now focusing on expanding its services in the sector of CCTV Surveillance and Men Force Counter for safeguarding the community. It hopes to bring revolution in CCTV Surveillance Sector with Man Force Counter and QRT Vehicle.
