Mumbai-based health food brand Snackible has raised an undisclosed amount of funds from Mumbai Angels Network and 1Crowd. The funds were raised by LightSaber Food Ventures, the company that owns the brand Snackible.

Some of the investors that participated in the round include Kishore Ganji, Akshay Chudasama, Hemant Sood, and Pradyumna Dalmia, amongst 21 Mumbai Angels Network investors that took part in the round.

LightSaber Food Ventures was founded by Aditya Sanghavi in 2015. It sells healthy and chemical-free snacks under the brand name Snackible. It provides snacks under different categories like sweet, savoury, low calories, high fibre, high protein, gluten-free, and lactose-free, for different people with different needs.

The products are sold offline in retail stores in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru, including, Godrej Nature’s Basket, Foodhall, Hypercity, and Le marche. It also sells its products through online channels, through its own website, along with other platforms like BigBasket, Amazon, Shophop, among others.

Earlier in April 2017, LightSaber Food Ventures had raised $175,000 in an angel funding round.

Other food brands competing with Snackible in India include Frubites, The Mumum Co, Sattviko, and Timla Foods, among others.

Last month, Fruit snacks brand Frubites secured funding from Mumbai Angels Network.

In August 2018, health food brand Timla Foods raised ₹13.7 crores in debt funding from Anicut Capital.

In July 2018, The Mumum Co raised ₹3.4 crores from angels investors.
