Expressing displeasure with the top management, two more senior executives of New Delhi based eCommerce startup Snapdeal have resigned.

As per the reports, Rahul Ganjoo, Vice President, Programme Management and Arvind Heda, Vice President, Technology (Data Platform) have resigned. It is contemplated that many more are to follow.

Earlier this week, we reported that Snapdeal’s product VP Pradeep Desai; Engineering VP Viraj Chatterjee and IT head Gaurav Gupta have exited the company. Prior to that, Business head of FMCG, Digvijay Ghosh and Business head of general merchandise, Rahul Jain had also resigned.

After declining the acquisition offer from Flipkart, Snapdeal announced that it will continue to work as an independent entity with a vision of ‘Snapdeal 2.0’ going forward.

In order to do so, the company announced that will let-go 80 percent of its staff, and sell its other entities as well. It plans to survive and grow business based on the money received from the sale of FreeCharge to Axis Bank.

A senior employee of the company said, “Leadership is set by example not by blatant lies coming in from dubious founders.”

Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, co-founders of Snapdeal, have said that the workforce and investors are supportive of their ‘Snapdeal 2.0’ strategy. While a few of the investors are not supportive of the decision, the early-stage investors have come out in support of the move.
