Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has invested an undisclosed amount of sum in Delhi-based co-working space Creator’s Gurukul. With this investment, he has also become a partner and brand ambassador for the startup.

Being a brand ambassador for the company, he will help create awareness, reach and impact. He will be the face of the company for the next four years.

It appears that the investment has been made in his personal capacity and not through his venture capital firm YouWeCan Ventures. Last year, Yuvraj Singh entered the VC market with the launch of his own VC firm.

Yuvraj Singh has previously invested in Healthians, EazyDiner, and Rahul Yadav’s Intelligence Interfaces. His VC firm YouWeCan too has invested in ventures including Black White Orange and Startup Buddy among others.

Commenting on this development, Yuvraj Singh said,

Creator’s Gurukul has mixed all the right ingredients and global alliances to create new age workplaces, ideally suited for modern day requirements. It feels great to be a part of the Creator’s Gurukul team and I look forward to working with Siraj (sic) and Abhinav in this exciting journey. I am confident that the unique business model of Creator’s Gurukul will disrupt the sector in a big way and create an inspiring global brand.

Creator’s Gurukul was founded by Abhinav Tandon and Mohammed Sirajuddin in 2016. Apart from Yuvraj Singh, it counts prominent HNIs such as Shabir Momin, Anubhav Kaul, and Jasmeet Singh as its backers.

The coworking space is looking to open its first centre, a 500-seater space in Gurugram followed by two centres in Manguluru and Delhi by the end of the year.

The company claims to have a shared office space ethos which caters to startup entrepreneurs, MSMEs, freelancers and more. The coworking space provides for such amenities as plug-and-play usage, hi-speed Internet, office facilities, flexible member plans and more.
