After the overwhelming response from the crowd, Jio has stopped the accepting pre-bookings for the JioPhone. According to the analyst, the number of registrations has easily crossed more than 5 million within a day itself.

The pre-booking for JioPhone started on 24th August 5:30 PM, for the first few hours, the website didn’t accept any registration and even the My Jio app didn’t load at all. However, after first few hours, the website started working fine and any one could have booked a phone by just paying INR 500.

If you haven’t booked your JioPhone still, then either you can register yourself at the Jio.com to know more about the next pre-booking date or visit our website. According to Jio’s spoke person the company is planning to cater 5 million devices per week and even for those who pre-booked on the first day, the device might take time about 3 to 4 weeks to get the actual delivery.

Few people have already procured smartphones and started posting the retail unit pictures on social media. According to the retail box, the Jio MediaCable will be included in the retail box without any additional cost.
