Lenovo has launched its most anticipated smartphone, the Lenovo K8 note in India. Unlike their previous iterations, this device offers impressive features in terms of hardware as well as software. Overall the K8 note is a combination of aggressive pricing and super smartphone. The device is priced INR 12,999 for the 32 GB variant and 13,999 for the 64 GB variant.

With respect to built quality, the device meets industry standards with all metal unibody design. Venom Black and Fine Gold are the two colour options to choose from. Lenovo has also killed its legendary Vibe UI, in favour of stock Android. This makes sure that the updates will be pushed quickly and the stock android is always icing on the cake.

Even for the multi media consumption, this device has plenty of features to offer. Dolby Atmos feature works on built in speakers and headphones. The theatre max feature does offer a great VR experience to watch movies and videos via external VR  headset.

The Lenovo K8 note is powered by Helio X23 10 core platform, incarnated with either 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM along 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage. The device also offers dedicated SD card slot + 2 nano SIM card slots with up to 2 TB SD card readability. Like most of the smartphones in this segment, the device is equipped with 1080p IPS LCD screen, laid over by Corning Gorilla Glass with 2.5D curves.

In terms of camera, this is one of the few smartphones that offers dual rear camera setup (13 MP + 5 MP). Though this setup might not produce great photos like an iPhone 7 Plus or OnePlus 5, the device does capture images with real time bokeh effect. The front facing 13 MP camera also has a dedicated flash unit.

The 4000 mAh battery will last at least for a complete working day, and the 15W fast charging is also a added luxury at this price point. Finally, Everything is working for Lenovo in terms of hardware, software and other add ons. Wait for the full review to know about these features in the real world usage.
