Anee, a new player in the flagship smartphone market has come up with a new entry-level budget oriented Android smartphone in India. Though the company haven’t disclosed anything about the pricing or availability, the company is touting to price the device aggressively to keep up with the ongoing competition. Here is the complete detail on the Anee A1.

In terms of design, we don’t have any clue regarding the looks and aesthetics of the device. However, considering the specifications of the device, one can expect a plastic unibody build. In terms of pricing, the device is likely to be priced less than ₹5000 rupees. Here are the complete tech specifications of the newest smartphone from Anee.

The Anee A1 features a 5.0-inch HD 720p IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the device will be powered by an unknown Quad-core SoC, paired with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 64 GB).

With respect to connectivity, the device is likely to offer dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability on both the slots with a dedicated micro SD card slot. One can also expect features like Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, analogue FM radio, and 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Looking at the camera capability, the device offers an 8 MP rear-facing camera with HD video recording capability and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera with wide angle lens. In terms of operating system, the device runs on Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top with no information on the Oreo upgradability. Finally, the device is powered by an impressive 3000 mAh non-user replaceable battery, which should last at least for one complete day even for the heavy users.

Finally, the company is also working on a mid-tier Android smartphone with 3 GB RAM, which should be made available in the future. In the upcoming days, the brand is likely to launch Anee branded feature phones at an affordable price tag.

So, what do you think about these specifications? Is this smartphone is similar to that of the recently launched Nokia 2? Share your views in the comments below.
