It’s that time of the year where you will be in a difficult situation to choose the iPhone of your dreams and worried about the warranty if something unusual happens with your imported iPhone. Is Apple India promoting Indian users to get an iPhone outside India intentionally? the puzzle is really tough to understand.
So, worry no more, as per the warranty is concerned, Apple Indian welcomes to repair anyone’s iPhone who has purchased an unlocked iPhone anywhere in the world. So, this means if you have someone of your knowledge in Dubai or the United States of America, then call or text them and tell them to get an Apple iPhone X, as it costs the same as an Apple iPhone 8 in India.
So, here is an instance about the same. The entry-level iPhone 8 is priced at INR 61,000 in India and the iPhone X retails for INR 89,000. However, in the United States, the entry-level iPhone X is priced at $999 (which is around INR 64,702 with respect to the today’s conversion rate). So, why settle for the less when you can get an elephant for the price of the dog without losing anything.
However, this new rule doesn’t apply for those iPhones which have been purchased outside India with a career plan, so, if your iPhone is jailbroken or not officially unlocked from the Apple, then one has to pay the amount to their problem solved.
Does this rule apply to the other countries as well? As of now, there is no information about that matter. As of now, there is no testimony that says that Apple provides international warranty for all the customers of the world. Steps like this what makes Apple, the best after sale support company and people are ready to pay the hefty price tag for their devices without thinking twice.
