Planning to pre-order Apple iPhone X? Then pre-order a case as well, to be on the safer side. As Apple officially announced the cost of repair for the Apple iPhone X and they don’t come cheap at all.

To start with the screen, one has to spend a minimum of INR 20,000 to repair the screen. In fact, the Apple iPhone SE with 32 GB is available in India for INR 18,000. So, be careful with that. One more fact is that, if you damage any other thing except for the screen, then the company will charge INR 36,000 ($549), so breaking your phone will also break your wallet for sure.

If we compare these prices with the other iPhones, the Apple iPhone 6 screen replacements are priced at $129 (INR 9,000) and the Apple iPhone 8 screen replacement will cost $169 (INR 11,000) so, it’s almost double that of any current smartphones available.

As no one can predict the disaster, it’s always best to purchase Apple Care+. The Apple iPhone X costs $199 (INR 13,000) for, for Apple iPhone 8 it costs $129 (INR 9,000) and for the Apple iPhone 8 Plus one has to pay $149 (IN R(10,5000), which protects all these phones up to 3 years. So, having an Apple Care+ will cost you $29 (INR 2,000) for the screen replacement (1st-time screen replacement only).

These prices have reached all new heights because of the cost of OLED panels used in the latest iPhone. So, considering $999 price tag, getting an Apple Care+ insurance policy does make sense, as it’s the cheapest way to replace the screen twice with other repairs for the time frame of 3 years.

Finally, its like sell your kidney to buy your favourite iPhone, later on, pawn your arms and legs to buy insurance for the same. Considering all these things, the company has seen a phenomenal interest for the iPhone X, as the pre-order date has been shifted from 3rd November to last week of November, which has also increased the value of their shares up to 3 percent.
