Apple has announced the next generation smartwatch AKA Apple Watch Edition 3. From the design perspective, the Apple Watch Edition 3 looks identical to the Edition 2 and the original Edition. However, there are plenty of changes under the hood and you will love it.
According to Tim Cook, Apple Watch is number one watch in the world, which gains the spot from the mighty Rolex (in terms of sale statistics).
The Apple Watch Edition 3 is coming to Indian market very soon with a price tag of INR 29,999. However, the device will be missing the major feature compared to the western market, i.e, the 4G LTE capability. So, most of the features mentioned below may not feature in the Indian version.
Apple Watch Edition comes in two models, and multiple band options. The one with GPS only model will be priced at $329 and the 4G enabled model is price starts from $399. 
Both models offer swim-proof protection, so, one can wear the watch in the pool or in an Ocean. Edition 3 comes with the improved active heart rate monitor with a dedicated workout app, which can track the details like the number of calories burnt, depending on the activity (hill climbing, walking, jogging or cycling). Just like the previous iteration, there is a special Nike+ edition with smart coaching as well.
All the above-mentioned features are common to both Wi-Fi and LTE models. The 4G LTE model offers lots of features as well as individuality.
The 4G LTE enabled version of Apple Watch Edition can be used as a stand alone gadget without connecting to the iPhone or iPad. The wearable features an e-SIM card, which enables to receive voice calls without the iPhone. It can also be used to access 40 million songs on the iTunes with just a click and one can also pair their AirPods with the wearable.

The watch also features real-time GPS navigation, Siri, Calender sync, messages and many more network required features. The Apple Edition 3 comes with the powerful second generation processor with up to 70% more processing power with all-day battery life just like the Edition 3.
The major differentiating factor between the Edition 2 and Edition 3 is the red colored crown, which increases the overall premium-ness of the watch and takes it to the next level.
