Asus, the worlds leading electronics manufacturer launches a thin, portable, and powerful laptop named Asus ZenBook Pro. Presently, the device is only available in the USA for $1,699 (INR 111,569) only.

The Asus ZenBook Pro features a full metal Aluminium design with chrome like the design on the top. The interesting part about this laptop is not visible to the naked eye (inside the device).

The laptop just weighs around 1.87 KG and measures 365.76×251.46×17.78mm. Though this may not be the slimmest laptop in the world. But this is the slimmest laptop to feature a fully-fledged GTX1050 Ti (4 GB LPDDR4) GPU paired with Intel i7-7700 HQ SoC, with 16 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 512 GB onboard PCIe SSD storage.

The device features a standard 15.6-inch anti-glare IPS LCD 1080p panel with just 7.3 mm narrow bezels, giving it an edge over the competition. The display also supports 10 points multi-touch input with support for Asus pen (sold separately). The laptop is powered by a 64-bit Windows 10 Pro operating system with fingerprint sensor support (via Windows hello feature).

As the ports are considered, the device offers dual USB-A ports and 3 USB type C 2.0 ports with Thunderbolt support. The device does support dual-band WiFi and WiFi hotspot. However, the front-facing web camera is bit outdated compared to the competition (just 0.3 MP).

The Asus ZenBook Pro does support fast charging (up to 16 percent battery in just 49 minutes), which should offer 16 hours of battery backup. According to Asus, the company has re-engineered the thermal system on the device, which enables the device to run 2.3 degrees cooler than their last generation device.

At this price tag, the company is offering plenty of features at a substantial price tag. If you are looking for a light laptop with a heart of a beast, then Asus ZenBook Pro is the one to go for.
