Asus, the godfather of motherboards and computer components launches a new entry-level Android smartphone in the Philippine. The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite offers premium build-quality with the best in class specifications, with respect to the price tag, it is being offered. In fact, this is the cheapest Asus smartphone with the metal unibody design which offers selfie centric features. Here is the complete list of tech specifications for the Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite. The 16 GB variant is priced at $156 and the 32 GB variant is priced at $176, making it the best choice to select from the lot.

The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite is equipped with a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the device is powered by the entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Octa-core SoC, paired with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB or 32 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 128 GB).

As this is a selfie-centric smartphone, the device offers a 13 MP front-facing camera with front-facing LED flash (F/2.0 aperture). On the backside, the device also offers a similar 13 MP rear-facing camera with dual LED flash and 1080p video recording capability.

In terms of connectivity, the device offers a dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte capability on both the slots, with support for 2.4 GHz WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1. The device runs on the latest Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top (ZenUI 4.0). As of now, there is no information about the Android Oreo update, however, Asus is known to provide one major update to the portfolio, which means, this device is expected to receive Android Oreo update in the near future.

The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie is fitted with a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery with normal charging capability (up to 10W). Overall the device just weighs 144 and measures 155.66×75.9×7.85mm, so, it won’t be a burden on user’s hands. For a smartphone that is priced just under the $200 frame, the device offers substantial value for money, features like a fingerprint scanner, compass sensor,  and the gyroscope sensor are not usually found in the smartphones with this kind of price tag.
