LG G6 and Honor 8 are the two flagships from different OEMs. Initial pricing of LG G6 was INR 55,000 (few weeks back) and Honor 8 was launched with the in initial price tag of INR 30,000. From past few days, these devices has been listed at much lower price than the original price. The LG G6 retails for just INR 38,000 and Honor 8 at 17,900.

According to our analyst, the huge drop in the price tag is due to the upcoming GST based taxing system. As sellers are trying hard to clear their inventory before GST comes into play, which brings down the profit margin for the sellers. These devices offer dual camera setup with flagship class hardware and niche built quality. At their current prices, these devices are the most accurately priced flagship smartphones from LG and Huawei.

The LG G6 has a 18:9 ration 5.7 inch 2k IPS lcd panel with corning gorilla protection on the front as well as the rear side. Underneath, the device offers powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 oct-core SoC, paired with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB onboard storage with dedicated SD card slot.

The dual camera setup at the rear (dual 13 MP) offer great set of features including bokeh effect with 4K video recordings capability along with IOS to stabilise the video footage. The device does offer 3300 mAh li-ion battery with quick charging along with USB type C port. The Android Nougat is tweaked for the liking of LG G6 fans. LG even offers IP68 rating, so, this device is splash and dust proof as well.

The much cheaper flagship from Honor offers smaller smaller 5.2 inch screen with 1080p IPS lcd panel. Underneath, Hisilicon Kirin 950 0ct-core solution powers the entire system with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB onboard storage. The device comes in fancy colours with metal construction like, Sapphire Blue, Pearl White and Sunrise Gold.

In terms of photographic capabilities, the device is equipped with dual 12 MP sensor (no physical stabilisation) with 8 MP front facing camera. Though the cameras are capable of recording 4K video footage, the company has restricted it to 1080p via software. The device offers typical 3000 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. Unlike other smartphones, this device comes in only single SIM variant.
