Canon has launched a new premium tier camera in the US with a new pair of lenses and other camera accessories. The Canon G1 X Mark III is priced at $1299 (INR 85,000), and the lens hood for the same is priced at (model number LH-DC110) $60 (INR 3,900) and the waterproof case (WP-DC56)  and the leather case $500 (INR 32,500) and $100 (INR 6,500) rupees only.

The device also offers a robust state of the art build quality with all leather and metal unibody design with retractable touch display (rotatable up to 180 degrees). The device also offers a dedicated viewfinder, which can be used to track the position with AF points.

The Canon G1 X Mark III offers a 24.3 MP APS-C CMOS sensor with Canon’s dual pixel autofocus technology. As a matter of fact, this is the first point to shoot camera which offers all these features.The camera offers a 3-inch touchscreen OLED electronic viewfinder display which offers features like Smooth focus autofocus zone, X3 optical zoom, optical image stabilisation, and a wider aperture of F/2.8 to F/5.6. The camera can give nice bokeh effect with ISO range from 100 to 25,600 which should be able to capture a lot of features even in the low and artificial lighting condition.

The point to shoot camera can shoot continuously up to 7 frames per second and or 9 frames per second when the autofocus is fixed on a single object. The device also offers modern features like NFC and WiFi, which helps to share the files quickly over the wide range of devices which offers similar connectivity features. In terms of video recording capability, the device offers a maximum resolution of 1080p video footage up to 60 frames per second with 5 axial optical image stabilisation.
