OnePlus is known for their collaboration with various artistic and beauty brands across the globe. Recently OnePlus announces a designer version of OnePlus 5 designed by Castelbajac. The device is priced at 599 Euros, and available on 22nd September at Cottage gallery in Paris.

In terms of tech specifications, the device has not received any major upgrade. Instead, the back panel now gets a new design and an official autograph from Castelbajac. The Volume and notification switch buttons get a nice paint job with simplistic attractive wallpapers designed on Castelbajac style.

There is no information about the number of devices available for sale or the next sale for the designer edition. As of now, one has to fly to Paris to catch this super product from the Castelbajac.

OnePlus 5 features a 5.5-inch 1080p OLED panel, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core SoC, paired with either 6 GB or 8 GB LPDDR4 RAM along with 64 GB or 128 GB onboard flash storage. The device doesn’t offer external SD card but does support USB OTG via USB type C port.

The OnePlus 5 is packed with a dual rear-camera solution with 1 16 MP camera offering F/1.7 aperture and a 20 MP telephoto lens with F/2.5 aperture. The device offers 2X lossless optical zoom, Portrait mode and electronic image stabilisation for 1080p and 4K video recording capability.

The smartphone offers dual nano-SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability across the globe. Features like NFC, Dash charging, Oxygen OS based on Android Nougat also exists. According to the company, the device will receive Android Oreo update by the end of December 2017.
