Centric, a new smartphone brand from India has launched a new mid-tier Centric A1 Android-powered smartphone in India for ₹10,999. At this price tag, the device does offer interesting specifications and features. The smartphone will be available exclusively on online and offline stores from 1st December.

In terms of design and aesthetics, the smartphone is in line with the competition. The all-metal unibody solution offered in this device is appreciatable. The device will be available in Classic White Gold, Energetic Black Grey and Vibrant Gold colour shades. Let’s look at the technical specifications for the Centric A1.

As the title suggests, the smartphone offers a standard 16:9 aspect ratio display with a 5.5-inch screen. The display panel offers 1080p FHD resolution with an even distribution of 401 pixels per inch. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-core SoC, paired with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 128 GB).

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers a dual nano-SIM card slot with 4G LTE with VoLte capability on both the slots. Other standard connectivity features like WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, and Bluetooth 4.2 out of the box.

Coming to the camera department, the device offers a 13 MP main camera with 1080p video recording capability and an 8 MP selfie camera with similar camera capability. Both cameras have their own individual LED flash, so, night photography will not be that bad.

In terms of operating system, the device runs on almost stock vanilla user interface on top of Android Nougat 7.1.1. The company haven’t shed any details regarding the future software updates. Finally, this device runs on a 3000 mAh Li-ion sealed battery with Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 technology.
