Comio has launched 3 new smartphones in India, under the made in India programme. So, all these smartphones have been assembled in India with native R&D, which has helped the company to come up with a strong set of smartphones at an affordable price point.

All three smartphones belong to sub ₹10,000 price point, so, we can call them as the entry-level Android-powered smartphones. Let’s look at the technical specifications of the same for the further understanding.

Comio C1: This is the cheapest smartphone in the lot, with the price tag of ₹5,999 only. The smartphone is equipped with a 5.0-inch HD 720p IPS LCD screen, with the standard tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an entry-level Quad-core 64 bit ARM-based processor with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot.

In terms of camera capability, the smartphone offers an 8 MP rear-facing camera with autofocus and 720p video recording capability. For the selfie enthusiasts, the phone features a 5 MP selfie camera with fixed focus shooter.

Comio C2: The Comio C2 offers a similar 5.0-inch 720p IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the same unknown Quad-core 64-bit processor with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM with 32 GB RAM and a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 64 GB).

With respect to the camera capability, the smartphone offers an 8 MP selfie shooter with an 8 MP primary camera with PDAF and 1080p video recording capability.

Comio S1: Finally, the Comio S1 gets a slight upgrade and offers a slightly bigger 5.2-inch 720p HD IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass. Under the hood, the smartphone shares the same 64 bit ARM-based Mobile Solution.

Coming to the camera capability, the smartphone is equipped with a 13 MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video recording capability and an 8 MP selfie shooter with 720p video recording capability. The smartphone features a 2700 mAh Li-ion battery with normal charging capability.

The common feature amongst these smartphones are:

  • All three models offer dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability
  • Runs on Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top.
  • Does offer features like WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, and Bluetooth 4.2.
  • There is no information on the future software updates what so ever.
