Comio, a subsidiary brand of Topwise Communications China has launched three new entry-to-mid-range smartphones in India. The devices are designed to cater the masses in India with a budget of INR 10,000 or less.

In their latest portfolio, Comio P1 is specifically designed for those who use their device extensively throughout the day without actually charging it twice. The device is fitted with 720p IPS LCD HD screen, powered by  Unknown 1.3 GHz 64 bit SoC, paired with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB onboard storage.

The device is priced at INR 9,999 and offers 13 MP rear main camera with 1080p video recording capability. The device charges via micro USB and offers the latest version of the Android operating system (7.0) out of the box with basic features like WiFi, Hotspot and Bluetooth connectivity. This is the only model that features finger print sensor amongst the lot.

The slightly cheaper Comio S1 gets a slightly smaller 5.2-inch screen, powered by the same Unknown 64 bit 1.3 GHz processor, with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB onboard storage. Even the 13 MP main camera and an 8 MP rear facing camera are borrowed from P1. Instead of large 5000 mAh battery, Comio S1 gets slightly smaller 2700 mAh battery.

The more affordable Comio C1 retails for just INR 5,999. The device offers smaller 5 inch IPS LCD display with the same 720p HD resolution, practically, this device’s display will offer more clarity. The 1.3 GHz processor is paired with just 1 GB RAM (that might not be good for multitasking) with never expected 32 GB onboard storage ( the first device that offering 32 GB onboard storage for just INR 5,999).

Jio also bundles a 20 GB free data package with all three devices. The devices also come with stock security applications like anti-virus, Anti-theft and intruder selfie feature (captures a selfie, if someone enters the wrong password for more than 5 times).

These three devices are covered by 30 days replacement policy* and offers 40% buyback offers up to a year of actual purchase on eligible Comio products. If the phone’s screen breaks within a year, then the screen will be replaced at no cost*.

Initially, Comio phones will only available through partnered retail chains. Over the time, the devices will be made available on E-Commerce sites as well.
