Xiaomi India is all set to launch a new chapter in India if the rumors are to be believed, the smartphone maker is all set to launch the cheapest smartphone in India, which is expected to change the change the million people’s lives in India. This will be an entry-level Android-powered smartphone, which is expected give access to the smartphone for the next million people.

So, currently, the details regarding the smartphone are very cloudy. However, Flipkart has confirmed that the smartphone will be exclusively available from them for the first few sales. It is also confirmed that the smartphone will house a mammoth battery with very good battery backup.

The smartphone is also expected to solve the storage problem. According to recent Youtube video, the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi is expected to offer a dedicated micro SD card slot, along with dual nano-SIM card slots. Both SIM slots are expected to offer 4G LTE and VoLte capability on both the slots. Other standard connectivity features like WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, and Bluetooth 4.2 are also expected.

Though we cannot say much about the actual tech specifications, here are the speculated features of the Xiaomi “Desh Ka Smartphone“.

The smartphone is expected to offer a 5.0-inch HD 720p IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. The smartphone is expected to be powered by an entry-level Quad-core Mobile Solution, paired with at least 2 GB RAM and 16 GB onboard flash storage.

On to the camera capability, the smartphone is expected to feature 5 MP main camera and a 5 MP selfie camera with 720p video recording capability. So, we can expect standard camera capabilities. In terms of operating system, the device is expected to run on Android Nougat 7.0 based custom UI (MiUi Version 9) with a promised upgrade for Android Oreo in the near future.

Finally, the device is expected to be priced less than ₹5,000 rupees price mark, which will be the Unique selling point of this smartphone. At least, the smartphone will have a powerful internals compared to other entry-level smartphones like the Nokia 2.
