Dropbox is a file hosting service which is operated by American company Dropbox Inc. Its headquarter is located in San Francisco, California. The company offers cloud storage, file synchronization, personal cloud, and client software. The service was founded in the year 2007. The service was finally made public at the beginning of this year. Over the last month or two, the company has made several improvements to a wide variety of its services. The service may be running behind Google Drive in terms of the storage but now there is a mobile app update rolling out. This new update is expected to have some handy new features for its users. According to the company, these updates mainly focus on helping users stay in sync with their teams when they are on the go.

What users can expect from new Updates for Dropbox:

The new update includes a new file activity viewer that will be accessible for users while previewing a file. A single tap on the viewer will also bring up a list of events like edits, shares, and more. The users those have the professional and business subscription will also get the viewer history. The new update has also made the previews better than previous. Now users can also add comments in-line. Also, all the comments from other users will be available at the bottom of the preview.

This new update will also bring a new home screen for the newer version of the app. The new home screen will list important contents like starred items and those items that user have recently accessed. Images will also be larger on this screen. According to Dropbox, this new feature will not be live right away. It will roll out “over the next few weeks.”
