Flipkart’s recently launched Flipkart Billion Capture+ is a great smartphone for the most aspect and here are the best competitors in the market. Looking at the price tag of ₹11,000 to ₹15,000, the competition is really tough for the Flipkart Billion Capture+.

The best phones that can match up with this new smartphone are here. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Moto G5S Plus, Lenovo K8 Note, Xiaomi Mi A1, and the Coolpad Cool 6 Play. So, we look at some of the aspect, which goes tough against the Billion Capture+.

Design: One thing that these devices have in the common is the all-metal unibody design. All 4 smartphones have a similar design, except for the Moto g5S Plus and the Xiaomi Mi A1, which offers state of the art full metal unibody solution with no plastic antenna bands. The remaining 4 smartphones have a plastic antenna bands on the top and the bottom of the cellular reception, which makes them look like a cheaper one compared to the Mi A1 and the Moto G5S Plus. So, if you are interested in looks, then go with the Xiaomi Mi A1 or the Moto G5S Plus and you won’t regret your choice.

Display: All 6 smartphone offers the standard 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. Though there would be a slight difference between these displays, it will not make any major differences in terms of user experience. All these smartphones have standard 16:8 aspect ratio screen on all the models, so, this might be a make or break when it comes to making your choice.

Processor: The Billion Capture+, Xiaomi Mi A1, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and the Moto G5S Plus is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core SoC. The CoolPad Cool 6 Play is powered by Snapdragon 653 and the Lenovo K8 Note is powered by MediaTek Helio X23 deca-core SoC. So, if you are looking for an energy efficient process, then go with the smartphone with Snapdragon 625. However, if you are concerned about the performance, then go with the Snapdragon 653 powered Cool 6 Play or the Lenovo K8 Note (which might consume more battery). All 5 smartphones have 32 GB or 64 GB onboard flash storage models with 3 GB or 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM. The CoolPad Cool 6 Play offers 6 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage.

Operating system: Non of these 6 smartphones are running on the latest Android operating system. In fact, the Android One powered Xiaomi Mi A1 will be the first one to receive the Oreo update, followed by the Moto G5S Plus, Lenovo K8Note and the finally, the Flipkart Billion Capture+. However, there is no information on the Oreo update for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and the CoolPad Cool 6 Play. So, if you are interested in the latest operating system, then go with Xiaomi Mi A1, as the software updates are directly controlled by Google.

Camera: We have three dual camera smartphones, the Xiaomi Mi A1, with dual 12 MP camera (telephoto + wide angle lens) with 4K video recording capability, then the Moto G5S Plus, which has a 13 MP main camera and a 5 MP depth-sensing camera. The Billion Capture+ has the 13 MP dual cameras (RGB + monochrome) with 4K video recording capability. Even the Coolpad Cool 6 Play has the dual 13 MP cameras with monochrome and an RGB sensor with 4K video recording capability. The Redmi Note 4 is the only smartphone that doesn’t have a dual camera setup. So, you can go with any 5 smartphones except for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

Ports: All 6 models offer a micro SD card slot, the Lenovo K8 Note has a dedicated micro SD card slot and additional dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability. The remaining models have a hybrid SIM slot, where the users have the capability to use dual SIM or a SIM and an SD card slot. So, if you like to use additional SD card for storage along with the dual SIM cards then go with the Lenovo K8 Note, if these features don’t bother you then all 6 smartphones have the best feature around the market. With respect to the external ports, the Xiaomi Mi A1, Coolpad Cool 6 Play, and the Billion Capture+ offers future-proof USB type C port for charging and data syncing and the Moto G5S Plus, Lenovo K8 Note, Redmi Note 4 has an old school micro USB port, which is a bummer at this price point. So, we recommend you to get a smartphone with USB type C to be on the safer side.

Battery: Starting with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, CoolPad Cool 6 Play and the Lenovo K8 Note have been incorporated with 4100 mAh battery, the Cool 6 Play and the Lenovo K8 Note offers fast charging. On the other hand, the Moto G5S Plus, Xiaomi Mi A1, has a 3200 mAh Li-ion battery, whereas the Flipkart Billion Capture+ packs a 3500 mAh battery with fast charging capability. So, if the battery is your main priority, then stick with the Redmi Note 4, Coolpad Cool 6 Play or Lenovo K8 Note for the extended battery pack.

Final verdict: In terms of display all these devices have the similar display so no make and brake on that aspect. If you are into design and aesthetics, then go with the Moto G5S Plus or Xiaomi Mi A1. If you are the battery enthusiasts, then either get Xiaomi Mi A1, Coolpad Cool 6 Play, Lenovo K8 Note, or Moto G5S Plus. Finally, if you are into faster software updates, then go with the Xiaom Mi A1, Lenovo K8 Note, Billion Capture+ or a Moto G5S Plus.
