Gionee, the Chinese smartphone launches a brand new smartphone, the Gionee M7 Power in China. The device offers some of the unique features, which are found only in the flagship smartphones. Outside China, the device is called as Big Gold Steel 2. The device comes in a Gold, Black and Blue colour with all glass and metal design like iPhone 8 or Samsung Galaxy S8/Note 8.

The device is a true mark of flagship smartphone in all the aspect and here are the reasons that support our above-mentioned point. The device comes in two models, high-end model with a dual-camera setup and a more affordable model with a single camera on the back. The affordable version is priced at INR 19,500 or $300 and the high-end model’s price is yet to be known.

The Gionee M7 Power is equipped with a 6-inch FHD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) Super OLED display with a 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top or a more affordable Gionee M7 Power with 6-inch HD+ (1440 × 720 pixels) Super OLED display with a similar 2.5D curved tempered glass. Under the hood, the device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Octa-core SoC, paired with 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated SD card slot (up to 128 GB). And the high-end model offers an Helio P30 Octa-core SoC with 6 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated SD card slot.

Coming to the camera, the model that uses Helio P30 offers a dual-camera solution (16 MP + 8 MP) camera solution with features like live bokeh effect and 4K video recording capability. The model that uses SD 435 came with a single 13 MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video recording capability. For the selfie enthusiasts, both models featured an 8 MP selfie camera with 1080p video recording capability. The device features an active fingerprint scanner located on the rear-end of the device, which can unlock the smartphone in just 0.2 seconds.

The unique selling point about the Gionee M7 Power is its battery. Both models offer a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging capability which also works as a power bank to charge other smart gadgets. As per the operating system is concerned, the device offers Android Nougat 7.1.1 with custom Amigo 5.0 UI on the top.

The device offers a glass design which resembles the Huawei P9. At this price tag, Gionee M7 Power seems to do a good job, making this smartphone perfect from every aspect.
