Gmail app comes with a new update for iPad, this new feature of Google allows adding long-awaited Split View multitasking support. With this new feature, one can easily open Gmail while checking out their schedule for confirming a meeting on Google Calendar. It also allows the users to drag pictures from Google photos and drop them into an email.

As per the statement of one of the officials from the company, one can also use simultaneously use Google Calendar and Gmail at the same time before confirming their time for the meeting. Without leaving or closing Gmail, the users will be able to drag and drop pictures from Google Photos into an email.

All G Suite and personal Google Accounts would now be able to use this feature quickly. You need to turn on multitasking on the iPad to have a look at the Split View from Gmail. Followed by this then you need to swipe up from the bottom of the screen of iPad, and drag the required app you wish to run along with Gmail to the left or right side of the screen.
In 2015, Apple first launched the feature of the split view, in 2016 with iOS and Google added Split View Support for Docs, Sheets as well as slides.
