Google Assistant Snapshot received a positive feedback from the public when it was released two years ago. Since that time, it has gone through several number of updates. Recently, a new update for Google Assistant Snapshot has been announced which will provide the facility for users to ask the AI-powered virtual assistant for showing the upcoming tasks and suggestions for dinner, podcasts and other activities. The update is coming for both Android as well as iOS users. Originally, the feature will function in the English language and other languages will be added in the upcoming months.

The Google Assistant Snapshot feature will now display reminders for the upcoming birthdays and holidays booked by the user. Google has stated that the Snapshot cards will automatically get adjusted according to the time of the day and interaction of the user with Google Assistant. As a result of this, users will get to see a card regarding commute time, weather and news headlines in the morning time.
Suggestions for dinner, podcasts and other activities
In the new update of Google Assistant Snapshot, users will get suggestions on the basis of their choices for food recipes, podcasts and the restaurants nearby that deliver food items.
Voice Support
Now users just have to say “Hey Google, show me my day” instead of tapping at the mic icon and pulling up Assistant from the bottom corner of the screen to see the important information. This will support English language for now and Google is planning to add other languages in the upcoming few months.
Google Assistant Notifications
Users will receive notifications from Google Assistant regarding flight timings, event updates, upcoming bills and due date reminders. An ‘upcoming birthdays’ card’ will be there at the English-speaking markets. When a user will tap at the notification, he or she will be redirected to that Snapshot card from which they will be able to choose any one option between calling, texting and singing a birthday song.
