Google Lens was launched previous year as a Pixel exclusive and now Google is rolling out the same for all Android Phones.

AI-powered Google Lens is undoubtedly a highly-advanced camera feature that can turn a sombre photo session into a lively infotainment interaction. After picking the photo, tap n the Google ens icon bar which is located next to the delete bin. For those of you that don’t know about Google Lens, it is a feature that can recognize what’s in your pictures and do a Google search on objects in your photos.

The lens is a set of vision-based computing capabilities that can understand what you’re looking at and help you take action, based on that information. The options displayed will depend on the information Google gleans from your photo.

” Rolling out today, Android users can try Google Lens to do things like creating a contact from a business card or get more info about a famous landmark”. Google will also let devices like the Galaxy S8, Huawei P10, and Nokia 8 devices access Google Lens through the Assistant app.

Google Lens can now identify buildings or landmarks, company logos, cat/dog breeds, text, painting, movies, etc. In the coming weeks, Lens will be available to all Google Photos English-language users who have the latest version of the app on Android and iOS.

Talking about the Android updates by Google, we have known that the Android developing company also releases monthly security patch updates which were started in order to increase the security of the Android handsets around the world.

Google Lens wider support is rolling out on a gradual basis, and everyone should have the update in the next few days, Google tweeted.

In our experience, Google Lens offered mixed results. If you are using this kind of features for the first time then it might appear a miracle to you as it can easily detect the monuments from an image, can detect the animal species, flower types, and what not. Thankfully, it didn’t take long, but we still don’t know when it will arrive on iOS.
