Google One

In an effort to revamp its Google Drive online storage subscription plans and simplify it, Google earlier this month announced that it was replacing its current non-G-Suite Google Drive storage plans with a new, low-cost storage plan called Google One. All the user’s stuff will stay in Drive and other Google products as before. But with these new plans, users might have to pay slightly less depending on how much space they need. In a recent move, the service now has an app in the Play Store. However, the app will not do anything as the service is not live yet. It is expected that service will go live sometime in the next couple of months.

More about Google One:

Google One is a more refined storage service it will provide users some great features. It will provide users features like the account sharing within a family, a variety of storage options, etc. It is also surprising to know that the new service will be offering storage facility ranging from 100 GB to 30 TB. The service will also allow users to share their account with their family members. In the family sharing account, the service allows users to add up to five member which is simply great. The basic level of storage plan that provides 100 GB will cost the user $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year.

In order to help users to manage their storage, there is also an app available now on the Play Store. However as the service is not live yet, the app does not do anything. On opening, the app user will see a page with a link to a web page where the user can sign up for updates.
