The new and better Storage option from Google will be offered to Indians too
Google’s storage service Google One will now be available to Indians too, other than the US market.
Introducing the Better Storage
Tech giant Google recently introduced Google One, cloud storage service, it provides a plan that gives you expanded storage and helps one to utilize more out of Google. Until now the service was limited only to users in the US. Now, the company has announced that it shall be launching the Google One service to Indian Users in coming months.
The company said, “Users in India will soon be able to enjoy more options to fit their storage needs – whether you’re working, connecting with friends or preserving your memories.”
New Plans for the Heavy Users; Better Support
With Google One, the company is also planning to introduce some new tariff plans ranging from 100GB to 30TB as storage options. As Google One members, users will also be catered to stay in touch with Google experts easily in case they face any troubleshoot such as recovering an accidentally deleted file or to learn how to use Gmail offline.

Apart from this, users will be provided extra benefits with Google One such as credits on Google Play and deals on hotels found in Google Search. Google One users will also be to share their plan with five other members than themselves. Bringing in the 5+1 plan.
The Company stated if a user already has a paid plan, they will be upgraded to the Google One within the next coming weeks.
Google taking over different fields
Recently, it was reported that Google has taken over Amazon and Apple in the smart speaker segment. According to the latest quarterly report, Google Home Mini was the world’s best-selling smart speaker in Q2 2018.

The report stated that the global smart speaker shipments reached 11.7 million units in Q2 2018. Amazon Echo Dot was the second best-selling smart speaker. Apple’s HomePod did not feature in the top-five ranking by shipment.
