If you are waiting for your next Android smartphone from Google, it seems you have to wait at least few more weeks. The greatest smartphone reporter Evan Blass has confirmed that the Upcoming Pixel 2 lineup will be unveiled on October 5.
Some of the interesting stuff about the upcoming Google Pixel:
- The device will be the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 SoC
- Expected to feature similar design language as the first gen pixel
- The device will be assembled and manufactured by HTC
- Google is most likely to ditch 3.5 mm headphone jack
- Probably the first smartphone to run Android Oreo out of the box
However, unlike most premium flagship smartphone, the device will not come with dual rear-camera or wireless charging capability.
Google's second-generation Pixel handsets, powered by Snapdragon 836 SoC's, will be unveiled on October 5th.
